Everyone has their own list of favorite games, and this is mine! You may not agree with my choices, but that’s what makes gaming so great—everyone has their own unique experiences. So, without further ado, here are my top 10 games of all time.
10. Pokemon Gold & Silver (Gameboy Colour)
Released in 1999, the second-generation Pokémon games were groundbreaking. I chose the Gold version, and what made these games truly special was the ability to travel between the Johto and Kanto regions. This added incredible depth, allowing players to battle classic first-gen Pokémon and challenge previous gym leaders. The difficulty level was higher compared to later games, which is why I often call this the “Souls-like” of Pokémon. The franchise has since become more accessible, but for me, Gold & Silver remain the pinnacle of Pokémon games.

9. Ea Sports UFC 2 (PS4 & Xbox One)
Released in 2016, this game perfectly captured the essence of Mixed Martial Arts. From precise striking and countering to realistic head movement and grappling, everything felt finely tuned. Career Mode was a highlight, allowing players to customize their fighter, earn skill cards, and unlock iconic moves like Mike Tyson’s devastating hook or Jon Jones’ spinning back elbow. The physics-based ragdoll knockdowns made for some hilarious moments. Whether online or offline, UFC 2 delivered an immersive and highly enjoyable MMA experience.

8. Assassins Creed: Brotherhood (PS3, Xbox 360 and PC)
Brotherhood, the second game in Ezio Auditore’s trilogy, refined the Assassin’s Creed formula in 2010. The introduction of the Brotherhood system, where players could recruit and train assassins, added a strategic layer to the game. Ezio’s journey through Renaissance Italy felt rich and immersive, blending historical intrigue with thrilling action. Memorable quotes like “We work in the dark to serve the light. We are Assassins” still give me chills. The improved combat, engaging story, and deep world-building make this one of the best games in the series.

7. Battlefield 4 (PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4)
For FPS fans, Battlefield 4 was a dream come true when it launched in 2013. Featuring large-scale battles, destructible environments, and a variety of vehicles including tanks and helicopters, it delivered an intense, realistic war experience. The customization options, dynamic maps, and satisfying gunplay made every match feel unique. While I love WWII games, no modern shooter has captured my attention quite like Battlefield 4.

6. Bionic Commando (Ps3, Xbox 360 & PC)
One of the most underrated games of its time, Bionic Commando (2009) let players swing through a dystopian city using a cybernetic arm while taking down enemies with satisfying third-person shooter mechanics. The gameplay was fluid and exhilarating, often compared to a futuristic Spider-Man experience. Though the story was decent, the traversal and combat were where this game truly shined. If you love action-packed games with unique movement mechanics, this hidden gem is worth a play.

5. Super Smash Bros. Melee (Gamecube)
The ultimate party fighter, Melee launched in 2001 and became a legendary competitive game. With a roster of beloved Nintendo characters, fast-paced mechanics, and incredible depth, it was endlessly replayable. The Adventure Mode took players through iconic Nintendo worlds, and Classic Mode provided an arcade-style challenge. Whether playing casually with friends or mastering advanced techniques like wave-dashing, Melee remains one of the greatest fighting games ever made.

4. Balders Gate 3 (Ps5, Xbox One SX & PC)
Baldur’s Gate 3 rekindled my passion for RPGs. Released in 2023 and crowned Game of the Year, this tactical RPG offers deep storytelling, meaningful choices, and strategic combat. Every decision impacts the world around you, making each playthrough unique. I played it twice—once as a fighter and again as a sorcerer—each experience feeling fresh. With ongoing mod support and endless ways to approach combat, this game is a must-play for RPG enthusiasts.

3. Mass Effect 3 (PC, Ps3, Xbox 360 & Wii U)
Set in 2186, Mass Effect 3 places players in the shoes of Commander Shepard, tasked with uniting the galaxy against the Reaper invasion. Every decision—whether political alliances, personal relationships, or moral choices—affects the narrative. Though the ending was divisive, the journey itself was unforgettable. The culmination of choices from the first two games made the story feel deeply personal. With excellent squad-based combat, gripping dialogue, and an immersive sci-fi world, Mass Effect 3 stands as one of the greatest RPGs ever made.

2. Elden Ring (PC, Xbox Series SX & PS5)
A game that reignited my love for gaming, Elden Ring is the ultimate open-world Souls-like experience. With vast landscapes, brutal boss fights, and deep lore, it challenges players to explore and adapt. Every enemy encounter requires strategy, and your chosen playstyle significantly alters the experience. I completed one playthrough and am currently revisiting it as a mage in preparation for the upcoming DLC. The sheer scale of exploration, combat variety, and breathtaking world-building make Elden Ring a masterpiece.

1. Dragon Age: Origins (PC, Xbox 360 & PS3)
My favorite game of all time, Dragon Age: Origins, is a tactical RPG that I’ve replayed at least seven times. Players take on the role of a Grey Warden, making impactful choices that shape the world’s fate. The game’s deep lore, engaging characters, and strategic combat make every playthrough feel fresh. The Awakening expansion adds another 20 hours of content, solidifying this as one of the greatest RPGs ever created. While BioWare has released strong sequels, nothing has matched the magic of Origins. With Dragon Age: Veilguard on the horizon, I’m planning to revisit Inquisition before diving into the next chapter.
